We are a modern family living on an 1890's homestead in Missoula, Montana.  We live in a refurbished chicken coop that is quite snug and beautiful.  We don't have a steady supply of water, but we make do with a homemade catchment system, a cistern, and an ancient water truck we occasionally fill up at Parks and Rec.  when we are really in a pinch.  We kinda live on the fringes, and like it fairly well.  We are Andy (papa), Joanna (mama), Asa (four and a half year old), and Axel (one and a half year old).  Oh, and we have chickens , about eighteen of them, and a cat named Licky.
